Search and access systems for digital books on the Web
Abstract
In recent years the search and access systems for digital books have developed a great deal. In this study we present and describe some of the most important services and their search tools. We also suggest that the consolidation of institutional subscription services and the emergence of new reading devices (such as e-readers or tablets) may be reorienting the digital book market towards individual users.
