Resum

This article compares eight studies on the media treatment of the LGBTI group within the framework of Mèdia.cat, the Critical Media Observatory. The main objective is to develop a new and original project for the introduction of the LGBTI perspective in the world of journalism. This should allow a critical reflection on the cisheterocentrism of media discourse and the treatment of the reality of lesbians, gays, bisexuals, transsexuals and intersexuals (LGBTI) and will help to identify strategies to address the situation.
