At both national and regional levels, Spain's main public service television channels rely upon a number of independent producers of audiovisual content to deliver news on international affairs, including news agencies and consortia and correspondent networks. Using the data provided by different channels, this paper examines the coverage, use and management of these sources as well as the regulations determining their use and storage. It also analyzes the history of the most prominent agencies and the online toolkits they offer. Finally, the paper describes the daily work of Televisión Española's Eurovision department, which has recently recruited documentalists to manage the department's audiovisual material and to publish and produce audiovisual products.
